Golden Berry (Physalis peruviana)

Golden berry is a fruit that is cultivated by andean communities at more than 2300 masl (meters above sea level), due to this it obtains its flavor, aroma and nutritional value. The fruit is protected by an inedible shell, is small in size, bright orange and bittersweet.

These fruits contain a high concentration of vitamin A, B and C. They also have vitamin E, K1, B1 (Tianina), B2 (Rivoflamina) and B3 (Niacin), as well as fatty acids and phytosterols.

Also, it helps to minimize cellular aging, fights high blood pressure, stress, anxiety and stabilizes the level of glucose in the blood, which is why its consumption is recommended in people with diabetes.
